Featuring Sheryl Lee Ralph, Actress and Author
_______________________________________________________________________
Thanks so much for your interest in attending the Evening of Diversity and Empowerment Reception and Program. We have reached our maximum capacity for the reception, but tickets can still be purchased at any Wegmans location or online at mjsproductions.org for the Keynote, featuring Sheryl Lee Ralph.

We invite you to join Rochester alumni, students, faculty, and friends for An Evening of Diversity & Empowerment featuring Keynote Speaker, Sheryl Lee Ralph. An award-winning actress, activist, and author, Ralph is devoted to all aspects of personal and professional diversity and empowerment. She engages from perspectives of feminism, an awareness of LGBTQ and HIV/AIDS concerns, multiculturalism, and the many other ways that diversity impacts the community at large.

Hosted by MJS Productions, the evening program will also include special guest, City of Rochester Mayor Lovely Warren, a performance by Futurpointe Dance, and a unique multimedia presentation. Featuring themes associated with Crossroads: An Opportunity for Progress, the University's Fifth Annual Diversity Conference held earlier in the day, this event will be an unforgettable experience, not to be missed!

Prior to the program, enjoy a special reception where Sheryl Lee Ralph will be signing copies of her latest book, Redefining DIVA: Life Lessons from the Original Dreamgirl. Books will be available for purchase.

Reservations are required for this special event. Admission for guests is $25 per person. Pricing includes a pre-event heavy hors d'oeuvres reception, two complimentary drinks, and a ticket to the Keynote and program. Tickets will be distributed at the reception.

Sponsored by the Office of Alumni Relations, the Office for Faculty Development and Diversity, and The Douglas Leadership House
