The Dirty Hippie Jam Band Project
A New Musical by Daniel Israel ’05

Thursday, October 24, 2013

5:00 - 8:00 p.m.
You’re invited to a special staged reading of The Dirty Hippie Jam Band Project, a new musical written by Daniel Israel ’05, Phoebe Kreutz, and Rob Ackerman, with musical direction by Kary Haddad ’04, and Matt Castle, and produced by Musical Mondays Theatre Lab.

Fellow UR alumni involved as cast, creative, and crew members have included Michael "Tuba" McKinsey ’01, David Soson ’07, Jason Menkes ’99, Colleen Parker McMahon ’99 and Samantha Levine ’11.

Dirty Hippie has been developed by the TONY Award-Winning BMI Musical Theater Writing Workshop in New York City and has been featured at Merkin Hall (Bound for Broadway), York Theatre (NEO 6 - New/Emerging/Outstanding!), and in showcases throughout the city. Join us for a special opportunity to experience this piece in unique developmental form: as a staged reading, performed without costumes or sets.

Following the reading, join the writers, cast, and crew at Emmett O'Lunney's Irish Pub to discuss the performance and to learn more about its development and production.

Tickets are $13 for UR alumni, and are available at the door. To reserve your tickets at the discounted rate, RSVP via email to A confirmation email will follow. Seating is limited, and advanced reservations are encouraged.
