Edmund Hajim ’58, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University of Rochester, and President of Diker Management LLC, will visit Simon to give a talk titled, “The 4 P’s, How To make A Life Plan”. Mr. Hajim is a generous benefactor of the Simon School, supporting students, faculty and our New York City Conference. Please attend if you are able, so that we may show our appreciation, as well as benefit from his insights.

Mr. Hajim is a Wall Street veteran, with a distinguished career spanning several decades. See below for his complete bio and registration details.

In 2008, Mr. Hajim displayed leadership, generosity, and a vision for the future when he gave $30M to the University of Rochester to rename the Engineering School he graduated from in 1958 the Edmund A. Hajim School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. He is an advisor to Dean Zupan, a friend to our School, and the leader of our University. About the Speaker
Mr. Hajim is a seasoned Wall Street executive with over forty years of investment experience. Prior to joining Diker Management, Mr. Hajim managed his own investment funds through MLH Capital, LLC and served as a Director of Morgan Joseph , a full service investment banking firm.

From 1983 to 2002 Mr. Hajim was at Furman Selz, an employee owned investment bank where he served as Chairman and CEO. In this role he sold the firm twice, first to Xerox Corporation in 1987 and then to ING Group in 1997. At the ING Group Mr. Hajim was Chairman and CEO of ING Aeltus Group, an institutional investment management firm which at the time managed in excess of $50 billion of traditional and alternative products for institutional and high-net-worth investors. Prior to 1983 Mr. Hajim held senior positions with the Capital Group, E.F. Hutton and Lehman Brothers.

Mr. Hajim is currently Chairman of the Board of Trustees at the University of Rochester. Mr. Hajim has also served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Brunswick School, a Trustee and Chairman of the Investment Committee at Greenwich Hospital, a Trustee of the American Craft Museum and a Member of the Investment Committee at the Brookings Institution. He is a Founder and Member of the Board of Directors of the Nantucket Golf Club. He has also served as the President of the Harvard Business School Alumni Association.

Mr. Hajim received a B.S.(ChE) from the University of Rochester and an M.B.A. with distinction from Harvard Business School.

Diker Management LLC is a small and micro cap investment manager founded in 2002. The firm seeks to find attractive long term investments through intensive primary research of small companies in growing and emerging technologies.
